4 Legged Family

I currently own one cat, KiKi.  KiKi was raised by a pit bull, after her mother died giving birth.  KiKi, is a wonderful girl, who thinks she is a dog, and does many tricks of her own.

I also recently adopted a 14-month-old female Rottweiler from Animal Control.  She was a stray who was adopted out in January, and returned May 2, at 2:30 PM.  I took her home at 5PM.

I will be sharing more about her and her training as time progresses.

Well, Jessie has been here for about 5 days now.  She is proving to be great entertainment.  She loves to chase the laser pointer dot, and play nose touch.  She places her nose on mine, and cocks her head as I talk to her.  She is a great watch dog, and gets along very well with KiKi, the cat.

She is available for sale; her price will depend on her training.  Please contact for more information.

Jessica is soon to be placed in her new home as an emotional support dog and a balance dog.  She has been doing great in public and with her obedience!  She is a great dog and will be a wonderful companion!

Mr. B, AKA Pongo

Mr. B came from animal control as well.  I adopted him because they had named him Brewster, which is my maiden name.  He is an Aussie mix, gets along well with kids and other animals.  Mr. B was recently placed with a client, whose Shepherd I had trained years ago.  He is fitting in quite well in his new home, with 2 children that love him.  His owner will be taking him through some group classes, more for the socialization and the bonding with his new dog.  Ken hopes to turn him into a great Frisbee dog, which I think is possible.

Harry

Harry came to Redland Rescue a while back.  He is a young dog, about 18 months with a gentle personality.  He is coming to stay with me for a time, to learn some obedience and to see if he is suited to live with me.

Stay tuned for updates on Harry.

HARRY IS IN HIS NEW FOREVER HOME!

A wonderful lady, who just loves him so much, adopted Harry!

Ralph

Ralph is a 1.5 yr old Pit Bull who was at a shelter in Pennsylvania.  He was there for several months, and was due to be euthanized, when a fellow dog trainer contacted me and asked me if I would consider taking him and trying him out.  He was too sweet to put to sleep.

Ralph is a great dog, who was a bit cat aggressive when he first came, and now totally ignores my cat, and even sleeps on the bed with her.  He is still a bit food aggressive, but only with other animals, and we are working on that issue!

Zane

Dane is a 3-4 yr old Australian Shepherd, who is just a delight to be around.  He is attentive without being too needy, and going to be a lot of fun to work with.

 LEVI

Levi is a delightful young man, who spent the first year of his life in a bathroom, with mange.

He is surprisingly well adjusted, and happy.

Levi has been going out in public with me, preparing for life as an assistance dog.  He has been to the movies (13 going on 30), to the doctor’s (they loved him), to a couple of restaurants (where he didn’t even sniff the food) and to dog training class!

He has a sweet, kind personality, and is a joy to be around.
