A Good Dog
ANNOUNCES

PSYCHIATRIC ASSISTANCE DOGS

I have decided that there is a great need for an organization dedicated to training and assisting with training and certification of assistance/service dogs for people with psychiatric disabilities.

Dogs have long been known to be able to assist with alerting to seizures, changes in blood sugar, and other invisible disabilities so, it is the desire of A GOOD DOG to form a non-profit organization to benefit in this area.

The challenges are going to be great.  Everything from choosing dogs,  to choosing clients,  to fund raising, to finding foster homes....

This organization will be based in Sunny South Florida, but will be available to all across the nation, and even worldwide.

We are, however, in need of some assistance.  Here is a list of things that are needed:

1) Fund raising
2) Someone to donate time, energy and effort for developing the paperwork for the non-profit status
3) Donation of well bred, good tempered dogs
4) Foster homes to help with socializing those dogs, raising those dogs and training those dogs.
5) Veterinary Services
6) Food for the dogs
7) Kennels, bedding, crates, food dishes, leashes, collars, etc...
8) Place to house and train dogs and clients
9) Vehicle for transporting dogs
10) Website development
11) Office Supplies
12) Clients

There will be a charge to the clients for the placement of their dog.  That charge will be determined based on the individual training of the dog.

All dogs will be trained to a minimum of standards, and will be required to perform at least 2 physical tasks specifically geared toward the person's disability.

Please help us supply this need!
