Yoma, the Service Dog Flunky

YOMA HAS A NEW HOME!!!!

Yoma is a service dog flunky.  She was originally chosen from a shelter in Missouri, but a dog trainer who has excellent success rate with service dog selection.

Yoma has failed because she is too friendly.  When I brought her home, I noticed that if people would smile at her, she would wag, wag, wag and then wag some more.  It was tiring for me to tell people to stop smiling at her.

If I had a year to work with her, she would make an excellent service dog for someone.  But that someone would have to continually tell people to not look at her or smile at her, as it is distracting to her.

She is house trained, basic obedience trained, crate trained, had about 50 hours of public access work(going out and learning to behave in public), and is an all-round wonderful girl.

She is spayed, microchipped, current on all vaccines, had her hips exrayed, and is current on heartworm prevention and flea/tick prevention.

She is great around livestock, and children, and other dogs/cats.

Yoma's adoption fee is $250.00.  This money will go to adopt another service dog candidate for a person with a disability.
